Saxophonist, arranger, composer, has been active since the nineties both in the world of “cultured” music – with the Rai Symphony Orchestra, the Roman Philharmonic Academy, Louis Andriessen, Jacob TV and the Sentieri Selvaggi ensembles, the Artisanant Furiex and Parco Della Musica Contemporanea – and in the jazz scene – collaborating, among others, with Kenny Wheeler, Willem Breuker, Lee Konitz, Bob Brookmeyer, Uri Caine, Joe Chambers, John Taylor, Keith Tippett, Gil Goldstein, Ethan Iverson, Bruno Tommaso, Paolo Fresu, Luis Moholo, Nexus, Italian Instabile Orchestra, the Lydian Sound Orchestra, BargaJazz Big Band, Umbria Jazz Orchestra.

He has worked in the theater both as performer and composer and made various radio recordings for Rai Radio Tre (Concerti del Quirinale, Battiti).

He has over forty recordings to his credit, both as a leader and in collaboration with various Italian ensembles, and has performed in the most important Italian and European jazz festivals, including, Umbria Jazz, Manchester Jazz Festival, Appleby Jazz Festival, Banlieus Blues , Grenoble Jazz Festival, Time in Jazz, Roccella Jonica Jazz Festival, Sant’Anna Arresi Jazz Festival. Nis Jazz Festival, Imaxina Sons Vigo, Bath International Music Festival.

In 2002 he played with Paul Motian’s Electric Be Bop Band at the “Vicenza Jazz” festival, in the reinterpretation of the historic “Town Hall Concert” by Thelonious Monk.

He holds the chair of classical saxophone at the “A. Pedrollo ”of Vicenza.
