Giuseppe Vigna


Journalist and writer (and a friend to both music and musicians), for over twenty years Giuseppe Vigna has been one of the driving forces behind Musicus Concentus, acting as artistic co-director and in charge of the press and communication office, as well as a long-term collaborator with the Festival dei Popoli for which he supervised the section “Lo schermo dei suoni” dedicated to music films. He has published two books, a biography of the Brazilian singer-song writer Caetano Veloso and an illustrated history of jazz for children, which has been translated into seven languages. He is also author and presenter of radio programs about jazz, new music and Brazilian singer-songwriters. He is currently collaborating with the monthly magazine Musica Jazz, with Giornale della Musica and with the daily newspaper La Nazione.
