An Italian winner selected for the Berklee 2019

He’s just 13 years old, he plays the sax and he comes from Santa Croce sull’Arno: although Gabriele Ghelardi is one of the youngest participants, the technical and artistic panels of judges have picked him out as the most promising musician of all of the Italian and international entrants in the contest.

Gabriele is already a seasoned performer on the stage and he dreams of a career as a professional musician. He has been awarded a place at the Berklee Summer School at Umbria Jazz Clinics 19: an exclusive learning experience during the only seminar held in Italy by the most prestigious jazz music school in the world.
