Graduated in piano with top marks and graduated in jazz with 110 cum laude, he began his artistic career in 1998 by winning a scholarship to the Siena Jazz winter courses. He has played in prestigious festivals: Umbria Jazz, Villa Celimontana (Rome), Jazz in Allen (Munich) Casa del Jazz (Rome) Tokyo Jazz Festival (Japan), and in important jazz clubs: Alexander Platz (Rome) La Palma (Rome), Music Inn (Rome), La Fontaine (Paris), Jazzhaus (Heidelberg) and Auditorium Parco della Musica Rome.
He has 11 albums to his credit, one of which was recorded live at the European Jazz Contest in Brussels where he won the special jury prize with his trio.
He has played with: Aldo Bassi, Jeff Ballard, Fabrizio Bosso, Ettore Fioravanti, Paolo Fresu, Maurizio Giammarco, Stefano “Cocco” Cantini, Joe Rehmer, John Arnold, Rosario Giuliani, Gege’ Munari, Andy Gravish, Joy Garrison, Pietro Tonolo, Gabriele Mirabassi, Antonello Salis, Miroslav Vitous, Francesco Bearzatti, Ares Tavolazzi, Sivan Arbel, Fabio Concato, Elisabetta Antonini, Rainer Push, Peter Lehel and many other international artists.
Some of his recordings have been published in prestigious compilations such as Jazz magazine, Jazz luonge (USA) and have been broadcast by national (Radio Rai 1, Radio Rai 2, Radio Tre Suite) and international (France, Belgium, Germany, Japan) radio stations.
He currently holds the chair of jazz piano at the “F. Morlacchi” Conservatory in Perugia.
