Jazz guitarist, arranger and composer.

He has played with musicians such as Joe Chambers, Dave Liebman, Manhu Roche, David Linx, Paolo Fresu, Pietro Tonolo, Franco D’Andrea, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Roberto Gatto, Gabriele Mirabassi, David Riondino, and is active in various contexts, from the big band to smaller ensembles made up of some of the best Italian jazz musicians; he has performed in Italy, Germany, Holland, USA and Japan. He has played in festivals such as Umbria Jazz, Time in Jazz, Ancona Jazz Festival, Potsdamer Jazzfest.

Lazzeri has also dealt with music for the theater, performing in circuits such as the Venice Biennale, Rome Theaters, Brescia’s Teatro Stabile, Gibellina’s Orestiadi. He has taught jazz guitar at the Conservatories of Sassari, La Spezia, L’Aquila, Reggio Calabria, and currently in Perugia.

Lazzeri recorded three discs in his name, as well as several others with formations with which he actively collaborates, for important Italian (Dodicilune, Wide Sound) and foreign (Neuklang Records) record labels.
