Announcing the 10 finalists of the CONAD JAZZ CONTEST 2025

Nine finalists were selected by the technical jury, while the tenth was chosen by the popular jury.

The young jazz talents will perform on the prestigious stage of Umbria Jazz (Perugia, 11-20 July 2025) to compete for the final prize of €5,000.

Bologna, 20 June 2025. Conad and Fondazione Umbria Jazz announce the ten finalists of the Conad Jazz Contest 2025 who will perform live on the stage of Umbria Jazz (Perugia, 11-20 July 2025) to compete for the title of the winner.

The nine bands selected by the Technical Jury are: Homlet Octet , Four Corners , Daniele Del Gobbo Quintet , Parnassum , Saihs , New Apulian Wave , Vincenzo Bosco 6et , Theater and Candy Cane Snail . The tenth finalist selected by the Popular Jury is Vincenzo Capuano 4et.

The technical jury chaired by Manuele Morbidini , saxophonist and composer as well as musical director of the Umbria Jazz Orchestra, selected 9 of the 10 finalists after a great deal of listening to the over 180 songs presented in this twelfth edition of the competition.

The votes cast by the Popular Jury were over 48,000, of which over 9,300 were assigned to Vincenzo Capuano 4et, the tenth finalist band and recipient of a voucher worth €500 to be used in a recording studio by the end of 2025.

The finalists’ performances will take place on the ” Conad stage ” in the central Giardini Carducci, in the afternoons of July 14, 15 and 16 – access is free – and will be evaluated by the artistic jury chaired by Stefano Bragatto , Director of Radio Monte Carlo, who at the end of all the finalists’ live performances will decree the overall winner of the Contest live on the radio from the mobile studio in Piazza della Repubblica, along Corso Vannucci, in Perugia on July 16.

The winner of the Conad Jazz Contest 2025 will win the final prize of €5,000 as a contribution to their career and will be able to perform in a dedicated tour organized by Umbria Jazz between the summer of 2025 and the summer of 2026 on the most prestigious jazz stages around Italy, and from this year the tour will be an opportunity to promote the EP, produced and distributed digitally by Universal Music.
